Component Engineer – EXPERIENCED

Job Summary:

TechiesDesigns Electronics Private Limited is looking for an experienced Component Engineer to support electronic product development through component selection, qualification, lifecycle management, and technical evaluation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electronic components, compliance requirements, and component engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and qualify electronic components based on design and application requirements. 
• Review component datasheets, specifications, and technical documentation. 
• Perform alternate part identification and fit, form, and function analysis. 
• Manage component lifecycle, obsolescence, and PCN/EOL notifications. 
• Support BOM verification and maintain component databases. 
• Collaborate with Hardware Design Engineers for component selection and approvals. 
• Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, and other applicable standards. 
• Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO) and component-related technical issues. 

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or related disciplines. 
• 2+ years of experience in Component Engineering or Electronics Product Development. 
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, datasheets & lifecycle management.
